 Basic usage

| year = The year of the category, e.g. 1995
| cat = The name of the category, excluding the year, e.g. "Plants described in"
| parentcat = e.g. "Plants described in the 1990s"
}}

 Additional parameters

| sortkey = Sort key for the parentcat (if omitted, uses the year of the category)

| noredlinks = Set to any value to exclude redlinks
