 Usage

• This template includes {{collapsible list}}s. By default, all lists are collapsed. To show all lists expanded, use {{تاريخ اليابان - جانبي/doc |expanded=all}}. To show one particular list expanded while the others remain collapsed, use {{تاريخ اليابان - جانبي/doc |expanded=listname}}, where listname is one of periods, topics. (Omit any speech or quotemarks.)

 Full syntax

{{History of Japan |listname |image= |imagesize= |caption=}}

• listname specifies which of the template's lists is expanded (see above).
• When image= is used, the picture is changed.
• When imagesize= is used, the picture size is changed (default is 185px).
• When caption= is used, a caption is added to the picture.
