التأريخ بالكربون المشع Radiocarbon dating،هو تقدير عمر الصخور باستخدام الكربون-14، وهو عنصر مشع له عمر نصف قصير، بحيث يستخدم في تقدير عمر مواد يقل عمرها عن 70000 سنة.[1]
