آرا پاچيس
آرا پاچيس أوگوستاي (Ara Pacis Augustae ؛ باللاتينية: "مذبح السلام الأغسطي"؛ ويشيع اختصاره إلى آرا پاتشيس) هو مذبح في روما المكرس لـپاكس، الإلهة الرومانية للسلام. النصب أمر به مجلس الشيوخ الروماني في 4 يوليو 13 ق.م. لتكريم عودة أغسطس إلى روما بعد ثلاثة أعوام في هسپانيا و الغال,[1][2] وقد افتـُتح في 30 يناير 9 ق.م..[3] وكان يقع، في الأصل، في الأطراف الشمالية لروما، على بعد ميل روماني من حد pomerium على الجانب الغربي لـڤيا فلامينيا،[4] it stood in the northeastern corner of the Campus Martius, the former flood plain of the نهر التيبر and gradually became buried under 4 متر (13 ft) of silt deposits. It was reassembled in its current location, now the متحف آرا پاچيس، في 1938.
